Flora Pearce has had 30 years experience working with families, couples and individuals. As a trained family and couple therapist, Flora’s focus is to facilitate the individual’s knowledge of themselves within the context of their significant relationships. This work may focus on Family of Origin history that may lead to making links to current behaviours and thoughts that are troubling and need attention.
Symptom relief as well as an understanding about those specific symptoms are tackled. As well as conducting a Private Practice, Flora has had many years experience at the Royal Children’s Hospital in metabolic and genetic medicine engaged in a variety of roles encompassing clinical, supervisory and teaching.
Her special areas of experience are individuals and families living with serious chronic illness, genetic counselling, infertility and other specific areas of physical and mental health.
In 2009 she completed a Masters of Couple & Relationship Counselling conferred by Latrobe University. She has served as a Board Member of the Australian Association of Family Therapy for the past 9 years and is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with Medicare.
